Indicator selection combining audio and visual perception of urban green spaces

Recent studies revealed the importance of combined qualities sound and visual landscape for human well-being in urban green spaces (UGS). Yet, there is a lack implementing design management enviroments that promotes audio-visual well-being. One potential reason this rather scattered results indicators linking either to one single type or providing have not been tested if they are generalizable other cities. In study, we use two existing general perception models; perceived affective soundscape (PAQs) sensory dimensions (PSDs) investigate their as five different types relationship with overall environmental satisfaction. Principal component analysis, pearson correlation coefficient multiple linear regression exploring relationships between PAQs PSDs satisfaction showed that: (1) Semi-open space blue had most abundant both auditory perceptions, followed by enclosed open space, while gray least. (2) Four models based on were found spaces. Different measures should be taken.
